Mike Maiberger, MHA, LFACHE

Mike is a seasoned healthcare executive with nearly 38 total years of  leadership experience.  He has served in executive leadership positions at all levels including CEO and COO roles across both large and small healthcare organizations. Mike assists hospitals and emerging healthcare businesses on corporate and growth strategies, strategic planning, value based payment initiatives, executive leadership issues and interim executive leadership positions.

Mike recently retired from Premier Health after 28 years of service to the System.  Prior to becoming executive vice president and chief operating officer in 2017, Mike served as chief value officer and as chief strategy officer for the system.  Mike was also president and chief executive officer of the UVMCV Health System, including Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy Ohio.  In 2018 he served in both his system chief operating officer role and also as interim president of Miami Valley Hospital.

Mike came to UVMC in 1992 from McLeod Health, a large health system in South Carolina, after nine years of progressive leadership roles in its 450-bed flagship McLeod Regional Medical Center. 

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, along with a Master in Healthcare Administration from Xavier University.  He is a Life Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Mike has served on a variety of community boards including the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, Troy Area Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association, and One-Fifteen.
