Since 2009 Donna has been assisting clients as an advocate for quality healthcare, process improvement and understanding the real issues practice face in the delivery of care during implementation of PCMH/NCQA criteria. Over the last 10 years Donna has gained valuable insights into the implementation of the PCMH processes to assist practices and systems to improve process and quality measures to make changes sustainable.

Donna currently works with various types of healthcare organizations to assist in their development, redesign, and transformation to meet the NCQA/PCMH Criteria for Recognition. To date coached and supported over 1000 practices to attain NCQA/PCMH recognition and successfully renew their recognition each year. Types of clients include Health Care Collaborative’ s, large multisite physician groups, academic systems, small independent practices and FQHCs (Federally Qualified Health Centers)

Beginning in 2018 Donna has been using the PCMHGuide to track PCMH projects. It has reduced the administrative time and gives all involved instant updates through its dynamic dashboard. There is no longer a need to use excel or sharepoint to manage the process of transformation in the preparation for NCQA PCMH Recognition.

Donna started her career as a nurse in the hospital setting caring for patients with mental health challenges, chronic medical problems and then as a clinical specialist in diabetes.

• Served the community as a public health nurse as director of outpatient diabetes program 
• Worked Pharmaceutical Company in Sales, contracting, marketing and Quality Improvement initiatives with managed care organizations 
• Very involved in the early Bridges to Excellence-Pay for performance initiative in Cincinnati and major      business coalitions.
• Implemented quality improvement initiatives with physician groups and managed care organizations to decrease barriers and improve outcomes
