Rebecca Ramirez, MD, MHCM, is a health system advisor who helps health system teams engage clinicians and information technology systems to improve quality, cost, and access to care. She is passionate about finding business and clinical 'north star' goals to assist teams in charting their paths to improve their position. Dr. Ramirez serves as Healthcare Advisory Network's Clinical Advisor.

Dr. Ramirez has specialized experience integrating new technologies to reduce care gaps by utilizing telehealth with partners and legacy systems more effectively. Her prior experience includes realigning employed physicians through compensation integrating revenue cycle improvement, creating physician incentives to reward value-based care metrics, and launching improvements in revenue cycle processes tied to real-time clinical delivery.

She has refined care models with virtual visits that are clinician accepted through refined MD pathways, and developed strategic models for transitions of care clinics, facilitating decreased readmissions and improved chronic care management of vulnerable populations.

Dr. Ramirez has served as the Chief Transformation Officer at an integrated health system in the Midwest, recognized for its quality outcomes. She has spoken at HIMSS IL/WI on the transformation pivots during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Ramirez has over two decades of health care experience.
