Ken Howell has broad and diverse health care leadership experience gained over his successful 25-year career. Most recently, he has been assisting health care clients in the area of strategic planning, program development, operational turnaround strategies, interim leadership and including a long-term engagement in China.
Prior to his consulting career, Ken was System President for Abrazo Healthcare in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role he led all aspects of a nearly $1 billion dollar integrated health care system including six hospitals, multidiscipline physician practices, ambulatory sites, and an accountable care organization (ACO).
Prior to this role, Ken has had a long and successful career as a hospital CEO in both large and small markets. This experience includes proven operational turnaround success, leadership team development, facility acquisition and integration, physician partnership and joint ventures, revenue cycle improvement, and strategic plan revision.
Ken currently serves on the Board of Directors of three nonprofit organizations: Hope 4 Kids International, Circle the City, and LifeStream Senior Care.
